Now it truly hit me that the PT is this weekend and, for the first time in two years, I won't be there.
I miss the atmosphere and playing at the tournament, but most of all hanging out and meeting up with all the friends I've made at the Pro Tour. It really is such a special thing.

I tried again and apparently my desktop *can* run our project in Unity without freezing after all...? Don't know what's up, but I'm happy since I can at least do some game dev things until I can afford more RAM 😊

Lots to reflect on in my quarterfinals loss today 🤔 I think my sb plan vs. Dio was not great, and I blocked really badly because I was scared of on-hits that he doesn't really even have. Because of that I wasted two 3-blocks in the game, and 6 more life would definitely have given me a chance to win

Well, I got all excited when I realized my laptop has 16gb of ram as opposed to the 8 of my desktop, so I tried and it has enough memory to run Unity... instead it's bottlenecked by the gpu and freezes in play mode *sigh*
At least I can maybe develop some systems outside the game scene for a while.

So turns out that to do proper game dev on my home computer, I need to upgrade my RAM pretty significantly, and likely get a new SSD as well.
Thankfully it's not like memory has tripled in price over the last year because of slop factories or anything, am I rite?

Between Clash of Bravado and Scour I'm getting convinced these aura hate cards were balanced to combat Chane and now Vynnset is suffering for his sins.

Played my first #FaB RtN yesterday to a pretty disappointing 2-4 record on Vynnset.
Had a lot of rough variance but then also didn't play super well in critical spots. At least I tightened it up for the last couple of rounds.

Are Florian and Verdance just inherently overtuned as heroes? Or is a 8 for 3 that strips a card from your hand with close to 0 counterplay a *bit* too much value?
