I got The Collected Stories which is four of her books in one. She’s rich enough that I had to pause halfway through or get overwhelmed.

Not saying you are. Just that I can't 100% know one way or the other. We're on social media, and it's designed to foment anger and division.

White folks have a lot to answer for, and we haven't covered ourselves in glory owning up it.

Let’s not let our liberal brothers and sisters slip off the hook too quickly either. The unspoken support for exploitable labor is on both sides of the aisle.

We understood that movie very differently.

I read it more as motherhood isn’t about blood descent so much as who has actually been present for you in your life, and it resonated for me.
