Nothing like a long weekend to get jumpstarted on my to-read pile: a bunch of trade paperbacks and books by LGBTQIA+ creators I picked up last year. A great way to distract myself from *everything* in the world.

Playing with the thought of taking a low-tech / less-internet weekend. Maybe read some of the many physical books I got last year or maybe go toy hunting...we'll see how it goes I guess.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Watched first episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and thought it was fine - interested to see where it goes.

My hair is getting longer and I can twirl it with my finger...I see the appeal.

Today was...a Monday...not good, not bad, and certainly not manic. Seems like I'm getting sick, so that's something.

[Funny quip about Friday goes here]

[Maybe a link to "Friday" by Rebecca Black...or not...]

Still tired...but happy for the weekend.

Anyone have any positive things going on?

I finally watched "Wicked For Good" last night and thought it was great. Felt shorter than its 2+ hour runtime - which was a good surprise. Is it as good as seeing it performed live? No...but it's close enough as I'm more of a shut-in these days.

Just had pepperoni pizza and ranch dressing for breakfast...I actively avoided it when it was "popular" but will now admit it works better than it should.

This year, I've decided to start letting go of nostalgia and focusing more on the present / future. Being stuck in the past can be nice but it's been holding me back...especially with certain changes happening...

New year, new me... May actually start posting this year instead of just being a reply-guy.
