I did give android a try for 3 years, hated every moment. Im still here despite having an app of the week pulled from the store as it was taking off. I think they’re playing a little safe, they’ll never replace Jobs but they need to do something

I do like shortcuts, I used it just yesterday to fix Duolingo constantly changing my icon. It’s not that I want something, my original point was they are slowly losing me. By that I mean my head is starting to turn. My M4 isn’t going anywhere soon, I’m certainly not going windows

Apple stood out from the crowd. It may be me just me but I’ve dropped of the tech upgrades, last 3 look identical. Stage Manager felt like a potential step forward but with no real updates since it feels like a stalled experiment rather than a tool for power users. Not angry, just disappointed

I recognise it’s harder to create ‘new’ stuff for the sake of new stuff. We had a similar thing happening in the 90s with building PCs, eventually we reached a point where your PC could play video and sound at the same time and upgrades were harder and harder to justify…

Love my Mac but they’re definitely slowly losing me, innovation is being replaced with mediocrity. The hardware is great the rest, meh
