All in all I’m disappointed in dndads for partnering with a controversial, cash grab of a company. I understand wanting to provide cool things like plushies or figurines for your fans but this was not the way to go about it.

These are honestly not even all claims against youtooz by a mile but I’m not gonna go into EVERYTHING.

Additionally cc ‘flamingo’ who has worked with the brand claims they stopped sending him royalties after he refused to promote a $100 pair of slippers. Youtooz claims this isn’t true and he’s been receiving royalties and hasn’t responded to them since 22’. (No sides show proof)

Additionally youtooz made exclusive figures based off NFTs which is just a whole other ethical debate that I’m not getting into.

While youtooz was originally a company based off making meme and content creator based products it didn’t take long for them to become a huge sellout and honestly loose a lot of the integrity behind their brand seeing as they no longer work with creators often and focus on trademarked media.

There are also claims about the company and its ethics from former employees but the threads have since been taken down and I’m unable to find them.

Additionally, the fact Ranboo themself put out this statement on their discord along with the fact multiple other creators who have in the past partnered with youtooz then refused to work with them again, is incredibly telling.

Youtooz has also been accused of art theft it the past after releasing products that closely resemble fanarts posted prior to the release, including the Ranboo plushie which although the artist was not mad and received $500 because other people were mad for them.

Youtooz as a company has been known for not crediting artists and also not getting proper licensing on things including music they’ve used in marketing (meaning artists are not receiving royalties) which is an understandable mistake if they were a small buisness but to reiterate they’re a COMPANY.

Didn’t realize how little I use green, I’m typically drawn to red characters 😅
