I design soft, romantic knitting patterns and have strong opinions about knit socks. Here you'll find yarn, tea, gardening, and a daily cheerful thing. I used to practice law, but now I'm nobody's lawyer. she/her
I feel the same! So glad we got to hang out this morning.

I just peeked in on my snoozing 9-year-old before I went to bed and was overwhelmed by how freaking cute she is. It should not be physically possible to be this cute, and yet!

An excellent point.

I used to do the same thing!

Exactly. I am just going to pretend that part doesn’t exist!

So it turns out my memory is accurate after all, and I come by the stubbornness honestly 😂

Here’s the legend himself. 5/5

So the other day, I asked my dad about it. Friends, you should’ve seen the look of exasperation that crossed his face and the sigh he heaved when he said, “Yeah, well, your granddad always had a bad habit of towing with undersized vehicles.” 4/

I also remembered Granddad towing a fifth wheel with that Ranger. Now, this camping trip was in 1996. My grandparents were taking me out to celebrate finishing elementary school.

Looking back, I know it would be ludicrous to tow a fifth wheel with a Ranger. I figured my memory must’ve been off. 3/

My granddad also had a Ranger just like this one. His was that sparkly tan color. It had the jump seats in the back, too.

I recently remembered a camping trip I went on with my grandparents where I sat in one jump seat and their cat sat in a carrier on the other. There was just one problem. 2/

What can I say? It was the perfect truck 😍

Same! And I had never seen so many at once at the thrift store. My guess is someone was clearing out their childhood bookshelves while home for the holidays and did a bulk donation. Glad we could give them a good home.

The best part is I had thought about messaging them last week to see about getting together, but I didn’t want to be the weird old lady trying to hang out with the college kids!

So glad you found some relief!
