Yeah, that's been a disappointment.

It is three people. This isn't a statistical analysis. It is those three people named above. All of whom have an extensive history.

It's not prejudging. It is actual judging based on overwhelming evidence of past behavior, current behavior, and clear obfuscation of evidence.

I think we know it to any possible real world certainty standard.

Fair enough!

I'm listening, but let's have a discrete variable example before I get on board.

Yeah, and make winter school break six weeks, starting at least two weeks before the holiday, and shorten summer break instead!

So, you are fine with it in middle and high school then?

The word 'most' is doing a lot of work there. Can you take a moment to think about why you have known there has been coed sports participation for a long time without you caring, but now you do care?

High school wrestling isn't.

Rich kids have a much larger advantage. Parents who are invested in sports also make a huge difference. Are we trying to do much about those? Because when I see people who worry only about one extremely small part of making sports fair, I know they aren't being honest about their intentions.

But that's similar to boxing weight classes and those are divided by weight, not sex or gender. We can isolate the particular attributes, which are often hormones or size or weight, and use that for distinction since those are easily and non-discriminantly measurable.

Luckily, they did realize that long division leads to tears and revamped arithmetic to be more intuitive and less restrictive. They do still teach long division briefly, but they also encourage students to experiment with repeated subtraction and best fit and other ways to find what works for them.

"The committee conducted a survey of over 650 educators and found that teachers are spending 80% of their time completing lesson plans and 78% of their time documenting meetings."

This is not stated correctly. Possibly those are the percent of respondents feeling too much time was spent on these?

Why don't they just have ChatGPT figure out how to beat the competition? Oh right, because it can't actually develop a strategy. That's the hilarious thing about all of this. If AI ever did reach the abilities they are aiming for, no one would need OpenAI or any of these companies anymore.

A lot of ADHD people who can't afford or otherwise access medicine rely on caffeine to function. It's not the best thing for them of course, but it may be their only support. Taking away that support and simultaneously making it harder to access any other is obviously terrible.

I'm sure someone would call you.

They should address that criticism head on then. Explain to us what we are missing and why they are making their choices. More engagement would be one way to directly counter the charge of them only caring about corporate donors.

I don't think it's a lack of common sense. It's fear overwhelming their judgement in very specific and narrow ways. That's why the propaganda is so insidious. And why the propagandists can't let up with it for even a moment or they risk losing their hold on the person.

Academics need to stop using purely academic language when talking to non-academics. Instead of using "prove", say "statistical certainty" or "evidentially supported", etc. Then we can support the negative side without fear that we are lying. We can be truthful, without losing most of the audience.

He is, though. But why that is, I do not know for sure. Lots of possibilities out there, I guess.

I think they want even video evidence to be disbelieved by the time any Epstein material comes out.

For sure! The hope for the internet was that it would bring variety and depth of information. But it ended up doing the opposite.
