Big storm just finished and it was indeed raining cats and dogs, so we adopted one. Meet Moose (formerly Melvin). He's just as goofy and happy as he looks, and in the limited interactions they've had, he and Murphy are getting along great.

I literally reared my head back in horror reading the first headline, and then again with the second. Several hours later, I'm also recognizing these are both cases of Black bodies being put on the line for democracy and freedom, as has been true through our country's history.

Absolutely stunning performances by Coalescence Theatre Project today to a packed room. I'm so thankful for those who make art and give us courage and joy in the scariest of times. (And yes, I went from teary eyed to total sobbing as they recited Claude McKay's "If We Must Die" and "America")
