Elgar's Dream of Gerontius conducted by Kazuki Yamada with the wonderful CBSO + CBSO chorus who were phenomenal.
Sadly no Toby Spence but Benjamin Hulett was brilliant, as were Jess Dandy and Roderick Williams.

Acrylic on stretched canvas. Fox in progress. May change to oil for a softer finish but at the moment quite liking the edgier lines of the acrylic.

I follow a brilliant account in Instagram called Wildlife Kate. Her photograph of a dead robin, found beautiful, unmarked and cradled in cupped hands seemed symbolic and made me want to try and capture in paint.
