“This Campaign Is About the Common Good.”

I’m not in this race to divide people. I’m in it to remind us that politics should be rooted in respect, care, and accountability - in loving our neighbors and working for the common good.
I released a statement about the policies that will shape the future of nursing education and rural health care in NY-23. This is an issue that affects every family in our district.

Langworthy’s Backing of Student Loan Restrictions Threatens Nursing Education and Puts Rural Health Care in NY 23 at Risk - THE WELLSVILLE SUN
The new rules would cap federal borrowing far below the cost of advanced nursing degrees and eliminate Grad PLUS loans entirely From Aaron Gies for Congress NY-23, Aaron Gies is […]

Western New York is already facing a serious nursing shortage. Congressman Langworthy supports student loan restrictions that make it harder for future nurses to get the education they need. That means fewer providers in the clinics and hospitals that keep our communities healthy.

Music brings people together. It reminds us to slow down, listen, and find the harmony we can build when we choose connection over division. That is the spirit Aaron brings to this campaign.

Even Santa knows NY-23 deserves better.

Aaron’s wife, Katie, caught him. Again. He’s “just here for the cute animals,” but this is who he is. He shows up. He cares. He listens. That is the heart of this campaign.

Caring for our communities is not a slogan. It is the work.

Rep. Langworthy finally voted to #releasethefiles What changed? Just his orders. If we want safety and justice, we need a leader with integrity, not a loyal soldier for a party or a leader.

My Statement on Today’s Vote to Release the Epstein Files

Today, Congress finally voted to release the Epstein files. That is a victory for transparency and a long-overdue step toward the truth that survivors have waited years to see.

Congress is preparing to vote on releasing the Epstein files, and the choice before us could not be clearer.

Survivors have asked for truth and accountability. Washington keeps slipping into politics and distraction.

Nick Langworthy earned a 10% rating from the AFL-CIO. One of the worst in Congress. That score reflects a voting record that protects corporations and party insiders, not working families.

At our Friendsgiving event on Saturday, Aaron said what families already know. Neighbors take care of neighbors, and families feel the squeeze every day. You cannot tell people who track every grocery price that everything is fine.

A Choice That Hurts Working Families

Nick Langworthy voted for the CHOICE Arrangement Act, a bill that sounds good on paper but puts working families at risk.
November 17, 2025 at 2:17 PM
Nick Langworthy voted for the Limit, Save, Grow Act. That vote was not about policy. It was about philosophy. He chose cuts to healthcare, education, veterans’ services, and family support programs while protecting tax breaks for the wealthy.
November 15, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Nick Langworthy’s record doesn’t add up.
In 2023, he voted for the REINS Act. Under the Constitution and existing law, Congress passes laws and federal agencies enact them by making rules assembled by experts and checked by oversight.
November 14, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Nick Langworthy co-sponsored the so-called “Born-Alive” Act. A bill that criminalizes doctors for making complex, heartbreaking medical decisions alongside their patients.
This bill is not about protecting life: Infanticide is already illegal.

When Beef Prices Get Political…

At our Mayville meet and greet, a voter asked if Trump really plans to set meat prices. Aaron’s answer? It’s not about socialism or capitalism. It’s about common sense.

We had a great turnout in Mayville! Folks came not just from Mayville and Westfield, but from Jamestown, Fredonia, and even Hamburg. The energy in the room was incredible.

Today, we honor the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform, those who stood ready to serve something larger than themselves.

Service like that reminds us what it means to belong to one another.

Public Service Starts with Showing Up.
If you or I missed 4 percent of our workdays, we’d have to answer for it.

Nick Langworthy has missed 62 out of 1,523 roll call votes in Congress - that’s 4.1%, twice the average for Congress. He refuses to hold in-person town halls. He avoids tough questions.

At the heart of my campaign is a simple idea, the Common Good. It's about shared purpose, shared dignity, shared opportunity. Every student in New York 23 deserves access to modern learning, reliable broadband training for the jobs of tomorrow.
