Oh for sure, and Blades of Steel had details that were impressive for the time as well. The camera angle for those games is probably better than the EA Sports one for realism too. I just think sports games, especially EA and 2K, are obsessed with simulation over gameplay.

Japanese companies making American sports games always meant the games were great because they cared less about the realistic details and more about is it fun to play
