Bleach. Specifically, the fumes from any cleaning products with bleach in them will make my throat close up.

No warnings were pushed to Google or the Transit app either... how are people supposed to know about a detour?? Seems pretty important for a bus that comes once every hour!

Suburban public transit would be more viable if people could depend on it, but instead we leave riders out in the cold.

My husband works out in the burbs and usually picks me up from the nearest Metra station if we're heading to a family event after his shift. Some people look at me like a lost puppy when we tell them I took the train.

True enough, though I always wonder if it's a chicken-or-the-egg situation when a low ridership station also receives low service.

But maybe some of these should just be consolidated (looking at you, LaVergne-Berwyn-Harlem).

One of the reasons I hope Metra doesn't go with the N/W/S letter scheme. It doesn't seem intuitive or helpful to go from two "West" lines to three.

CTA also needs articulated buses with three sets of doors instead of just two.

Shout out to the towns which are already coterminous with their townships. They actually dissolved Evanston Township and absorbed its responsibilities into the City of Evanston.

Good news that probably got lost yesterday while we were all watching Springfield: CTA and CDOT are planning on bus priority improvements along some routes. Hopefully they can get it done right, and deploy this more widely!
