I live in the UK where they are considering a farcical policy that all creative works are de facto training material for AI companies free of charge. It hasn’t gone into effect and is being debated at this moment. But, I repeat the word, farcical. It will just crash the creative economy in the uk.

That hasn’t been decided by any case so far. And in any case, even if the legal system decided to call it fair use, that would do nothing to change the fact that all of the arguments are nonsensical, and that these practices are exploitative at their core.

I was merely mimicking the nonsense arguments that OpenAI have been making for several years. “You might lose your account” is such a hilariously pathetic consequence for taking the entire IP, and I’m here for the laughs of the whole circus!

I’m sure it was just fair use. They gave their IP rights away when they posted it on the internet. DeepSeek is like how horse and cart was replaced by cars. OpenAI need to accept that progress cannot be stopped. Bunch of Luddites.
