I remember reading in 2016 that if Michigan's Upper Peninsula belonged to Wisconsin (which geographically would make more sense), Clinton would have won the electoral college. Kinda ridiculous that our fates are decided by something like that.

I think it's important to remember that the boundaries of the states are arbitrary. It's really more of a rural vs. urban dichotomy. For example, California and New York have a lot of MAGA voters in their rural areas, but their urban areas are so huge they outweigh them.
