They don't eat wild Locusts in Israel unless they want to eat bugs that are seasoned with pesticides.

They eat clean from Locusts farms.

While I was specifically talking about areas they promoted eating the fish not been successful in controlling this fish. Israel spray program shows eating fail.

Dennis, you're talking out of your ass.

The practice that you deny exists was widely reported. You may sit down and shut up, now.
Eating locusts: The crunchy, kosher snack taking Israel by swarm
Israel is in the grip of a locust invasion, but some people are taking a novel approach to pest control - eating them.

"Venomous Lionfish-Os"

You're triggering a high school cafeteria flashback.

You can buy them in pet stores. Or in restaurants.

No matter how many times I say that, it still sounds wrong.

We should break off diplomatic relations with them, and encourage the culturally superior country to their east to invade.

Türkiye could use another few provinces.

They do this all of the time, and they never do anything else. That "finest university in Greece" whose homepage I linked to, early, in ranked the 667th university on Earth.

In America, we'd call it a "party school." They're a joke, and so is Greece.

No use I can think. When, in the last 500 years, have they been anything but a net liability to the West? Or even people that the rest of us would have any reason to want to know?

We help them and they spit on us.
Those can't even crawl (much less walk) without self-injury aren't going to learn to run.

Why, again, are we allied with Greece? What use are they?
August 25, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Or, at you say, "crawl"?

bsky.app/profile/sigh...

Nikki is not the first a--hole from Greece that we've ever met, is he? Not even close, right?
The man (if such a word can be applied to Nikolas) who is too childish to read a book and learn how to clean a fish, is not going to suddenly turn studious and mature, and master a real skill like say, building a rocket.
August 25, 2025 at 8:13 PM
You raise some uncomfortable questions, but some solid ones.

bsky.app/profile/sigh...

Should we invite others to run with us, when we've been seeing them fail to walk?
Why would anybody invest so much as a penny in a place populated by people who think like this guy? How could there possibly be a positive return on investment in a country in which that kind of brain-dead pride will get in the way of learning even the simplest of tasks?
August 25, 2025 at 8:10 PM
This is somebody who you had initially tried to help

bsky.app/profile/sigh...

and went on trying to help, even as he acted like a jerk. Given ample opportunity to clean up his act, he just wouldn't, sorry excuse for a man that he was, and almost certainly will be.
I think that you might be thinking of fugu, the blowfish that the Japanese use to prepare some very expensive sashimi.

This is a completely different species, one in which, as others have said, the poison is in the spines. Care is required in preparation, but it is not as difficult, I understand.
August 25, 2025 at 8:08 PM
"I'm going to pwn everybody by refusing to learn anything" is quick route to failure in everything.

Look at the ass clown I'm dealing with. Even just learning how to safely clean a fish from a (formerly) friendly stranger is more than he can bring himself to handle.
August 25, 2025 at 8:00 PM
"I am not going to engage with you, I WILL PASS :)"

The deliberately ignorant troll says, as he engages with me. I wonder if I'm now seeing why the Greeks haven't amounted to much of anything for the last few centuries.
August 25, 2025 at 8:00 PM
You then told him off.

In detail.

Inquiring minds need to know.

Look, man, I need clarity and I need assurance that what you're getting hammered on isn't Budweiser, because at 2:49 pm, that would be tragic.

Tell me that it's at least a Guinness.

August 25, 2025 at 7:53 PM
What I'm seeing is a failure of basic reading comprehension skills. When full grown adults can't seem to read as well as grade school students, the only conclusions that seem available to me are

1. It's Happy Hour, somewhere, the bar has wifi, and this week's "can you top this" contest has begun.

Am I being messed with? You're totally messing with me, aren't you?

"Note that lobster is often described as succulent."

But nobody thinks that there's such a species as "the succulent lobster or

"Mushrooms as nutty."

the nutty mushroom.

We're in Illinois, posting in English, he's in Greece posting in Greek, half of the time ... he really couldn't figure out that we weren't his neighbors?

OK. Is Greece really the country that Aristotle and Socrates came from? Because right now, they're not looking like the smartest people alive.
August 25, 2025 at 7:34 PM
"Had claimed," rather. He replied with more empty headed abuse

bsky.app/profile/niko...

to the very suggestion that he could use the Internet to get in touch with somebody from another country, even though that's what he was doing, right then.
August 25, 2025 at 7:30 PM
You replied, pointing out how little sense he was making.

bsky.app/profile/sigh...

Nick, at this point, is exploding in condescending rage because you reminded him that he could use the Internet to get information from people in other countries.

He claimed that idea was "absurd."
August 25, 2025 at 7:18 PM
You anticipated his abuse of the nuclear block and tried to deal with it in the usual way.

bsky.app/profile/sigh...

I'm linking to that and encouraging those reading this to download the receipts, and save the links, themselves, because this was epic LOLcowery on nsp's part.
