It’s Groundhog Day. Did you know about a Mi’kmaw early-spring prediction? In Fall, if beavers build dams in lakes (instead of streams), it’s because it’s predicted the waters will be high in the streams in the Spring (from lots of leftover Winter snow). Thus, Winter ends early.
