More recent reading! The Payback, by Kashana Cauley, is a good time, a bit of a heist/caper to hit back at a student loan company and the Debt Police, with their unchecked violence, their peculiar self-help obsession, and their turquoise uniforms.

I’d heard very good things about this one, and Notes from a Regicide definitely does not disappoint. Love, art, trans family, and revolution in a really interesting setting, a far-future that feels like a relatively recent past with its own distinct culture.
