exactly, I think a certain level of snark is perfectly fine (God knows some movies deserve it) but its just very surface level, people say they got sick of "ranting about bad things" genre and I think they often meant "nitpick, rifftrax and snark" esp cause youre not engaging with it on its own lvl

for context shes sneaking through the house and she knocks a dog bowel which is super loud, we've all been trying to be quiet at night and accidently made a sound, its very visceral and real

still mad about a video on The Invisible man(2020) and hes like "omg jumpscares, so cheap" like the jumpscare near the start is the best one Ive ever seen, its not "loud sound go boom" its "oh fuck oh fuck Im gonna wake up my abusive husband as I try and sneak away in the night"

So glad gun control is for the most part uncontroversial. Sister and neices taught at/went to the school of the first "school shooting", while there were other mitigating factors I shudder to think if that kid had access to automatics, makes me so angry people think more guns are the answer

its a very 2010's thing. I remember a playable character from borderlands 2 or 3 (DLC I think) had an assisted-aim skill path which isn't a bad idea so you can play co-op with somone less experienced but they called it "girlfriend mode"...like just call it "sidekick mode" or something

Honestly really upset people who aren't even from here talk shit about owning guns. The closest thing to a school shooting here was a disturbed kid firing a few shots at the school, had close family that went there, it could have been so much worse

I'm gonna ask you to stfu right now. Aus has an incredibly low rate of mass shootings because of gun control, legal firearms still exist (ie:hunting rifles) so there is always the risk somome will cause violence but the capacity is nowhere near the same with easy access to automatics
