I guess the other point of a skill is not having to remember to invoke it or otherwise manually add it to your context buffer.

You could obvs throw the entire skill into your global or project claude.md file, but that would be a permanent toll on your context buffer if it's not actively useful to a given task

I frame it as information Claude can decide to add to its own context buffer when it decides it is relevant, based on your prompt matching the description of the skill.

The issue as far as rural dwellers and farmers are concerned is pretty much the same, regardless of type of hunting: entitled idiots running across fields not giving a hoot for owners, leaving gates open, bothering stock and intimidating any farmer or resident who dares complain 🤷
