recent survey from Seattle this was in the Seattle Times this morning. Bicycle commuting is up 32% in Seattle year over a year. I'm going to use this every time. I see a comment by an anti-cycling person to remind them that these are almost 17,000 trips that are not on his damn or her damn highway

I think we need to reframe the argument against bike lanes. Let's start calling streets and roads "car lanes" instead. Document all the empty unused car lanes that you can find in your town and promote those as needing to be turned into bike lanes . like these!
