i agree that a lot of fans don't know ball, but the type of fans that would vote i think would be above mean average, and would get it right more often than not. You have to earn a fan vote though, like reddit post history, or a published article, something to show you know stuff

I think the ego, and all of that of the hall of fame is insane, and that it should be fan voted in, every year 5 players get in except every 5 years they do 15 players, fan vote only
