I grew up with these four, or at least they are the four point'n'click games that made the most impact on me.

...of course, there's also Myst, lol

I don't know about DOS specifically, but point'n'click makes me think of specifically four games:

- Return to Mysterious Island (not monkey, mysterious!)
- Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle (it fits spooptober too)
- Flight of the Amazon Queen (hey, this one *is* DOS!)
