Yes. It’s beyond dispute. The only question is whether a subordinate of ordinary sense and understanding would know the order is illegal. They can’t hide behind the “just following orders” justification because that is an invalid defense.

I remember an NPR story on Senator Strom Thurmond speaking at a Republican Party event. He read aloud into the mic the staff’s directions (e.g., “Wait for applause to fade before proceeding.”). That silenced the applause in a quick minute.
Then we have Bernie Sanders.

While that’s true, Crockett understands that MTG needs the support of MAGA voters. Trump controls the MAGA movement and MTG cannot win in that district without Trump’s support.
