One of my favourite things about Finnish language is that there is only one gender pronoun: "hän/hänen" and it's a formality only used to & by people that are "better" than you like officials. In a regular conversation it sounds subtly off and even slightly insulting depending on the tone.

Background + sprite animation (the ship is now pre-rendered) and... tunnels ! I think I can add more gameplay elements and stay at 30fps, there is hope, the megadrive is a beast :o

The old Double Dragon movie is very silly and has lots of completely dumb stuff, but my personal favorite is the official police record for Abobo. Imagining a cop pulling this up and getting the animations and sounds is just incredible.

It occurred to me that just posting model renders with cryptic descriptions of the world they inhabit won't really explain anything. So instead here's a shot off the workbench with no explanation besides "what if cat, but big??? with gun???"
