Mostly armour, WWII wargaming and chiropractic stuff ... with some BJJ thrown in.
Got round to finishing my missing mortar team and threw in a FO and sharpshooter - 15mm for Chain of Command.

Calling this 15mm cheeky Churchill AVRE done. Had a go at @sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social baking soda mud. Looks great where I did enough of it but I bottled it on the tracks and didn't have the paints he mentioned so its a lot browner than I wanted. But as a first go it's table ready.

Obligatory 1st day at big school photo. No one was up so it's a loo selfie and not at the front door. :)

14th century breastplate taking shape.

Lots of experimenting with brightness. I'm happy with the changes and would give 80% overall. After some darker contrasts next time.

All set for some 15mm @tooChainfatlardies.bsky.social Chain of Command 2.

A workshop knife I made around 2009 based off numerous Roman finds. I likely use it more than my stanley knife and other box cutters. Such a simple yet versatile shape.

A few hours Chain of Command 2 yesterday evening. Still enjoying the rule changes especially as we attempt some reckless moves just to play out the additional rules.

From last nights shenanigans. First go with Chain of Command 2 by @toofatlardies.bsky.social really enoyed the rule additions they made creating a more pacey game that didn't allow the stalemates I always created with the old rules. Really enjoyed it and definitely welcome addition.

Fwoosh! Breastplate time.

Onto the final year after a little hiccup. One year in clinic then I'm out in the wild.

Back at the workbench for a month or so finishing a late 14th century harness.

About 3 years ago I painted 15mm miniatures using the historical colours and the figures looked dirty and grubby and lost on yhe tabletop. I took some advice and used historically adjacent colours and plastic soldier company miniatures and I'm much happier with the results.

I never seem to be able to get away to a game. But I slowly slog on regardless and make stuff for the happy day I get to play ... pew pew pew.

15mm British infantry for #chainofcommand underway.

Armouring during the heat wave ... not my favourite thing.

Making 14th century greaves and tesseracts today.

Speed I paint I should have these ready for Chain of Command 97.

More revision for the most worrying of a series of exams this coming month. At this point my BJJ dummy has more use as a mock patient than mock training partner!

My revision has taken an existential turn!

Crossfire at the club this evening. It was a massacre :(

15mm jagdtiger for Chain of Command finally finished.

Not sure whether to paint infantry or do a scatter terrain build of some sort.

I am very poorly stocked for buildings.

Fun finally catching up and watching a Far East Chain of Command fame last night. Been far too long.

I feel as though I am cheating buying these, not mixing my own dunkelgelb feels wrong but I always make it too dark so I figured I'd treat myself.

Late 14th century rear right hand greave roughed out. Takes about 30 mins to get here from the blank pattern. Then hours of fiddling and cajouling.
