Yu it depends heavy on what hardware do you use, i never had problems with neither audio or wifi but linux mint discord server have lots of tickets of those problems.

apart from anti-cheat games, everything run on average more or less fine. Some weird bugs but get patched if you use steam

That's your fault for trying to use someone else's heavy modified system. It's obvious you will never understand how the owner like their system to work.
Vanilla OSes normally are kinda easy to understand, especially ones like mint.
