When this nightmare is over if we survive it we're going to need a whole mess of citizen volunteers to remove his name, the big T's, and the tacky gold paint from every public place. Maybe we can reinstate the Environmental Protection Agency and assign oversight to them. I'm old but all in.

Moronocracy?

Is it mediocrity or moronocracy? I'm torn ...

I wonder how much more money the ultrarich have to make to have enough surplus to allow the trickle down that make us all too prosperous for social programs.

Bezos's last yacht = at today's local prices:

151,975,684 dozen eggs
83,474,454 lb ground beef
143,266,476 gal milk
167,224,080 loaves bread

As a recovering middle school principal I can attest that Trump and his entire entourage would fit right in an unsupervised cafeteria. Hegseth? Vance? Noem? Bondi? Lutnick? And they'd all be bullying Stephen Miller. We are looking at an Arrested Development Cabinet.

I suspect we should get used to MAGA folk suddenly seeing the light and asking us to forgive & forget all that they said & did & inspired & voted for. Trump and his moronocracy are so bad at delivering & so blatant at enriching themselves that even MAGA is questioning. Let's remember everything.

"Mass deportation of criminals" is a numerical impossibility. There were never enough criminals to achieve the ICE quotas. The ICE bounty hunters need the hype. So when do we hit the tipping point that crime is eradicated, the housing shortage ends, and all the white men can get high paying jobs?

This is what it looks like when you have public health without science. And attempted indictments without evidence. And a SCOTUS without regard for precedent. And a Congress without a spine. And a Unitary Executive without checks and balances.

Imperative that we keep standing up & pushing back. 😠
December 5, 2025 at 5:24 PM
SCOTUS is polluted. Congress is committed to impotence. We the people, standing up and pushing back - in grand juries, in elections, in protests, when ICE overreaches, when companies bend over - are the only thing that can stop this corrupt coup.

Making money is not the same as making peace. Making deals is not the same as governing a democracy. Trump is the best ever at lining his & his crews' pockets. When this is over maybe Rubio & other accomplices can be sentenced to years of community service to scrub the Trump name off of everything.

Yes, there's nothing quite like a Fog o' War Julep as the last bits of wreckage slip gently below the waves.

It used to be easier to be proud to be American.

I could see why Mike Johnson would be attracted to anyone with a sword. They appear to be scarce in Congress and I suspect they're a rarity in the Cabinet.
December 3, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Congress is MIA in large part because Mike's Johnson is MIA.

Ah, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Charging people with drug crimes is so inefficient, requiring qualified, legally appointed prosecutors, etc. Better to deport as many illegals (the source of all crime) as possible. Better yet, blow up all the little boats along the South American coast.
