LOCAL: The weather here has its moments. Most of them have been of the cold variety. The temps have not been above freezing, really, in a week and a half, save for last Tuesday afternoon. A blizzard of sorts came through Friday. We got about 6-7 inches of snow and sleet. All crunchy when you drive through it. Nothing interesting is happening in this neck of the woods.

LOCAL: Weird things happening locally. A cemetery worker drove heavy equipment over gravestones again, like, he's going through a cornfield in Inseption. Rows of them. A drone shot captured the damage. People upset after crews drove heavy machinery over headstones and graves at Fayette County cemetery - CBS Pittsburgh. Nice drone shot. Staffing shortages are creating a crisis with local law enforcement.

LOCAL: Happy belated Thanksgiving. It is snowing like crazy here. Pittsburgh schools are closed today due to the bomb cyclone that will slam the NE and blanket the land with the shroud of peaceful winter that will paralyze local communities. "Winter claps back" every year. Very dramatic, yes. Fall crumbles as the orbital pattern of the Earth continues to fuel speculation that the Earth may not be flat at all.

LOCAL: I constructed two more cat shelters for the winter. I use a cardboard box nested in a storage tube. I put Thomas hay and cheap shavings inside. The space between the box and tub is packed with wood shavings. I affix a basket around the opening into the inner box with duct tape. It blocks the wind and adds a bit of cover when peeing out.

LOCAL: I lost last week making crafts for holiday gifts. I will make an attempt to unload some of them at a shop at wholesale. I pass time with fam for various reasons. Birthdays, medical care, banquets, seasonal household stuff. A weekend in autumn's taper passes. It feels like we arrive at winter this week. It goes below freezing at night.

LOCAL: I flew a little, painted a little, tried to find some time to reflect. Life is short. So, now the site is purple. That's just cause and effect. Drone: Flew to get a late fall image of Brownsville with its calm river, completely gratuitous passes. Wind was up Saturday, flew Sunday. Planning a massive session out of town to cap the year.

LOCAL: Had a busy week looking at houses. I am in dire straits. Rain is coming in through the roof. It ruined a painting two weeks ago. Sewage and grey water backed into the basement for two weeks. We were all getting migraines and my Rae Rae was in bed with flu-like symptoms. The sewer gasses were the worst part. Migraines.
