The diagram illustrates how synchronized frequency changes between transmitter and receiver enable secure, jam-resistant radio communication, such as for torpedo guidance during World War II. Handwritten-style annotations and figure labels (e.g., Fig. 1) are visible, with the patent header noting the filing date of June 10, 1941.

After years of going sideways, shares in European telcos did well in 2025. Most are seeing slight increases in revenue and profits, and may face reduced competition.
