For me this all falls into the same category as water bottles, notebooks, etc. it’s all basically the same but if a new shiny product gets you to put on spf consistently then it’s worth it. When it gets old switch to a new shiny thing

100% agree. But if you can use AI to refine the earlier steps to reduce toxicity or off target effects then the job of AI at the Clinical stage gets much easier too. No approach is guaranteed but we are not that far off from this being reality

I worked at recursion! Agreed, head to head trials would be interesting to see. But I think AI will quickly surpass in vivo models- we are already seeing it upstream in the drug development process. Instead of going through 1000’s of compound iterations plus in vivo testing it’s down to 100s w/o

Eh, this isn’t necessarily true. There is very poor translation between in vivo models and patient trials/data. It’s a widely known issue for decades. Use AI trained on real world evidence will be at least as effective if not more so that in vivo models

This. My husband was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I immediately starting documenting and fighting with doctors, insurance companies, and his work. He was shocked I knew how to do it. I told him “I’m a woman, I’d be dead if I didn’t know how to do this”
