Alien bust that I sculpted back in 2017. Sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Blender. Apparently this was the first time I used the Filmic LUT which at this time was only available in daily builds of Blender.

Meet Sebastian. A character I modeled for unitys tech demo "Adam" in 2017. I used a combo of Blender and Zbrush for this one. I had a very cool setup with the shards on the back thanks to Blender. Instancing, array and curve deform. Gotta love Blender ❤️

An old robot design from 2017 made in blender. This scene was eventually contributed to Blender Foundation as an Eevee demo. Shout out to Clement Foucault who coded Eevee. That was a huge undertaking.

BELOW. This image was done completely in blender back in 2016. It was so easy to iterate on it since hair, clothsim, particles etc was in one 3d software ❤️.

Make Lovecraft - not war. An old Lovecraftian sculpt I did back in 2016. Zbrush and Blender. I was always thinking I should 3d print this and give it to a producer pal of mine, but still haven't gotten around to that.

Stuff from 2016. A bunch of hard surface modeling in Blender back in 2016. I remember talking to a well tutorial maker who scoffed when I said that I was using blender. He asked me "do you know that people look down on blender in the cg industry?". Today blender is widely adopted 😀.

In 2015 I did a bunch of creature designs for Milk VFX for the TV show Beowulf: return to the shield lands. Early days of using blender. I remember the show had an intro that was very similar to another fantasy TV show

This was one of the first characters I made in blender after switching from Maya back in 2015. Carol from the Walking dead. Some years after we at Goodbye Kansas did a bunch of VFX for the walking dead TV show.
