Sorry you had to go through that, it's hard not to let it affect your excitement to gm especially if your putting alot of work and care into GMing for them. Sadly some players expect the GM to read their minds & cater to them even if they're not making their desires known, bad player etiquette

The modularity of 🗡️🫀 is one of it's most fun design elements, absolutely nothing stopping you from using a class's core and subclass mechanics and doing a simple domain swap if your gm is cool with it. Beast Bound Ranger with Blood & Bone, Winged Sentinel Seraph with Valor & Midnight, the combos r ♾️

Figured out how to do domain swaps on demiplane for a similar reason, really loved the blood domain powers but didn't have a Blood Hunter concept i was excited about, so I tested out making a pact of the endless warlock with Blood & Dread domains instead of the raw Grace & Dread domains
