The intercom didn't go silent as expected. Instead, she hears more scuffling and a muffled noise as if someone's mouth is covered.
"Heyy, 3," growls the voice of the Hound. "Wanna hear what it sounds like when I knock up your boss?"

It's much harder to bury the memory of the thing's smell; like wet dog and gunpowder. She can quite clearly imagine its scent in the sound of each exhalation. (2/6)
