I don't know who "we" is and I don't want to know. Democratic Party isn't 'liberal' compared to leftists? If you want your figurehead elected, she has to earn the respect of Democratic voters, and the core of the party which is Black and Jewish voters. It ain't white leftists.

Another wave of rain coming through. A lone deer made her way to the apple tree. She raises her head to check on me, but they are not startled by our presence or movement. The remaining apples look like ornaments, and the wind brought more to the ground. I do love their dark winter coats.

Now, set aside for 3 to 7 days while the crystals grow. A little light cover of plastic wrap, not enough to trap moisture, but will keep out the dust. The amount of sugar was slightly overwhelming lol I made lemon and vanilla, will try orange next time. Dishes cleaned up, apron off, margarita time!

3 to 7 days for crystals to form! Now making another batch of lemon yellow, before moving onto orange.

A few sticks rolled in sugar, waiting for the sugar solution to cool down so I can pour it into the containers with sticks. Yellow solution with lemon flavor. Vegetable food colors only.

First things first: jars with sticks ready to go, anchored with clothes pins. The sticks will need to be dipped and rolled in sugar, but it’s so much easier to get them assembled first.
