I am teaching myself how to make homemade miso. In 3 months, I’ll be able to critique this recipe (for white miso). I’ll have to make a second batch for red, but that will take 6 months of wait time. 😬

The turnout in Raleigh, NC, for the #NoKings protest was great! My husband and I had to leave but people were still protesting. Love the energy!

Every year I force my kids to watch Buster Keaton movies on this day. They’ve started looking forward to it and they have an appreciation of silent movies. If you’ve never watched a BK movie, I recommend Sherlock Jr, The General, or my favorite short The Goat #busterkeaton

I saw this circulating this morning and I had comment about it. As much as I would love for it to be true, unfortunately it is not. There is no evidence that he has said it.
But, as we all know, actions speak louder than words and I am hopeful that he will set a good example on human decency 😊

My husband surprised me with Mallory McMorrow’s book and I started bawling. On the Daily Show she said “There is going to be a future after Donald Trump.” We hit replay at least 10x! I know she won’t see this post, but if I ever had the chance to say anything to her -Thank you for the hope ❤️
