You should come visit if you can before you move too to help get the vibe if you haven't been here yet. I definitely would have had a little bit of a culture shock if I hadn't been to visit my husbands family a few times. It's definitely a slower more small town vibe even in the larger cities!

Seasonal depression, because the seasons actually change and I love every one. I just put my Christmas lights up early and take them down late to help with the dark winter but the snow makes it so worth it! I'm an hour and a half south of GR but we have friends in the area we see fairly often!

Hi! I'm the swiftie mentioned above! I live south of GR, I moved here in 2021. My husband is from the area and we moved back here to be close to his family. I'm still relatively new to the area so I don't know specific neighborhoods in/around GR directly but we take day trips to shop, sight see etc.
