I reinstalled Windows on a laptop after replacing the drive with an SSD and it was my first time ever using Windows 10 Home, which is a circle of hell all in itself. What an amazingly user-hostile operating system. Holy shit.

I’m gonna gatekeep leftism for a minute. If you identify with a leftist ideaology and voluntarily partake of, say, Harry Potter, the switch 2, chick fil a, etc then I consider your entire philosophical basis to be purely performative liberal bullshit. It’s so easy to just *not*.

Wtf is my luck with computers. My Macbook Pro on a regular basis will have mouse functionality break entirely. Can't right-click, hover works intermittently, clicking sometimes right-clicks, goes back to normal after a reboot. Meanwhile I installed Arch on a Core2Duo laptop successfully and it flies

as much as I am not afraid of the terminal something about my mental state makes file management via terminal commands absolutely impossible to grok. Anyways I'm trying to offload stuff from my unraid server to my Synology (great timing) and having do use a terminal to do it is torture.

i love hitting "play/pause" on my macbook and some random video in a random youtube tab long forgotten in my 100s of chrome tabs awakens from its slumber to play a long-forgotten video for me instead of the music in Apple Music I paused 13 seconds ago.

2 car solution. It's wild how good the i3 drives, less wild when you realize it weighs the same as the E30. No modern EV drives like the i3 does and I'm horrified of eventually buying a Rivian R3 to replace it and being sorely disappointed.

The Audi by far aged the best out of the four door W12 triplets. The Bentley aged like milk. The c pillar on the phaeton looks super stodgy, Audi put a fourth window in the C pillar that looks a billion times better.

This is one of the least ergonomic steering wheel designs ever. I truly hate these cars.

Had to shrink partitions and set up a Windows 10 dual boot on my Steam Deck so I could run GTA Online and play with my girlfriend, which runs worse on Windows than it did on Linux, and which runs worse on Windows than it used to before the anti-cheat implementation that also broke Linux compat.

As much as I'd love to ditch adobe software I use the "remove from background" and the generative expand features multiple times a day and AFAIK there isn't a single alternative program that offers that functionality. :(

I have an OG Infinity Basslink in my i3 and it doesn't have the mounting legs, but I didn't want to go outside and measure the dimensions of mine. Fortunately one person is selling a single leg on eBay and has a tape measure in the picture. I can work with this.
