Gliding Tree Frog (Agalychnis spurrelli)!
One of the coolest and biggest frogs I was able to observe in the Colombian pacific! Those red eyes are so insanely cool. I was lucky to be graced by their presence since they spend so much time high up in the trees and are pretty hard to find. #herps 🐸

#OTD 17 Jan 1912 Scott's team arrived at the South Pole to find Amundsen's tent & flag. He wanted to achieve his science goals and collect rock samples as he went back to base. His team later died and were found with the samples. This was a precursor #astrogeology #astrobiology sample return mission
