One day, when I don’t have 1,000 other things to be doing, I’ll finish writing up the episode guide at garryhallidayepisodeguide.blogspot.com

Two of those published on the same day (with a sickly green one on The Making of Doctor Who v2).

The sickly green is what a designer I used to work with would called a Choice.

Good work. Is it the version of the story you know best? I’ve spoken to a few people in the last couple of days about the relative hierarchy of 6 ep TV version, 85-minute omnibus, LP, book…

Ok, ok, ONE more

Very different from earlier Nation stuff on Skaro - the Magnedon, the thing in the swamp, the Slyther and Varga plants. Are these all things evolved after Genesis? Or does the end of the war, and all the radiation, mean an explosion of mutations? Help, I can’t stop…

I’ve been thinking about this. The Dalek annuals offer trans-solar discs and various hovercraft and whatnot. But it’s all very insular on Skaro in that war. A small-scale conflict, fought by an elite who don’t believe in alien life.

True, subject to cancelled cricket matches necessitating repeats :)

What we now thinking of as a script polish. Yes, really interesting to see that as working method.

Well, maybe my assessment will make you see it more kindly :)
