Making a website is an overlapping but different skill set than a web app, but can be just as difficult and important; definitely can be a profession. And you can always be a computer scientist regardless of school, I had to pick up so much stuff outside of school. Just requires desire to learn

Would love that! And yeah, looking up source code is always great (gotten way harder with sites practicing poor DOM hygiene and using generated classes), but on the hunt for tutorials for doing more non-standard stuff, like how elysiajs.com did their dark/light mode toggle animation.
