New monitor!! I got home so late that I'm too tired to hook it up after assembling it...it's 4K, 120 Hz AND under 30". Didn't think I would find a monitor under $300 that checked all my boxes 🫶 I'm so excited to get the rest of the PC components...

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

I've started trying to do one of these abstract drawings in my sketchbook per day. I spend no more than 10-15 minutes on each and I use a cheap, blunt blue mechanical pencil so I don't care too much about them having particularly good linework

The heat is STILL out at work. This is day 8 of no heat during a snowy weather event. They need to replace a part and it's a hard to get thing apparently. Part's on backorder or something 😵💫

I should trust my own research on PC building more and lay off on bugging people so much because some people I'm asking are getting annoyed because I'm making some executive decisions against their advice and so they're like "stop asking me for advice if you're gonna be like that" 😔

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

2. Link's green tunic is frayed and very simply sown together. Even the threads used in the weaving of the fabric are not even shades of green. Also Link has a necklace? I see the hemp string.
Costume design already telling a story. I like it!
