quick tip for anyone who wants to preserve their privacy and not automatically enable apple "intelligence" on their macs: if your mac language and siri language are different, apple intelligence will remain deactivated even after OS upgrades.

i dont usually enjoy quick crosswords but this one clue made thursday’s nyt crossword a real doozy. i enjoyed it.
it would be nicer in the long term, though, if they used fewer proper nouns and purely american references.

brand new #fpl season is a go! i ultimately went with draft no. 29 (see screenshots) with #nohaaland, #nosalah. i used my own custom algorithm based on betting odds, Elo rating, and chances to win.
and it wouldn't be FPL without the regretful feeling that everyone else has a better team!

using a combo of bookies' odds and Elo ratings. the simulated weighted average #fpl fixture difficulty for the first seven weeks shows good fixtures for #AST, #BRE, #CHE, #BRI, #BOU, and #MUN.
i'll be choosing my squad using this system. let's see if i can finish higher than in the last 11 years!
