My boy Butter (dog) has to wear a cone for the next 3 weeks due to a mass by his eye. He keeps scratching it and he has started some antibiotics. The mass is getting removed next week but he is not a fan of the cone. Does anyone have any tips for adjusting to cone life?

I took myself out for a desert date and it was a great time. I need to make this a regular thing.

The bachelor/bachelorette weekend was awesome and a well needed weekend away! The coolest part about the house was that there was a fire pole in the house!

We are doing pickle science and ranking the random flavors we came up with. Our garden has been working hard to give us the tasty treats 💜

It was an awesome experience for a few days. We had a whole swimming pond to ourselves and it was really nice seeing the water lilies in the morning. I missed modern plumbing but it was great.

I turned 32 on Monday and as I normally take time to reflect on my last year. I am so proud of the progress that I've made not just physically but mentally as well. It really shows that removing toxic people (especially family) from your life makes a HUGE difference. I went to the beach and had pie!

We have been on a gardening kick lately.

I got my partner into watching anime with me. In the ending credits Mihai does this pose. He proceeds to ask me "who the hell holds their laptop like that?". Now my partner does this pose with his laptop and makes sure his shirt goes up. It makes me giggle every time.

I taught my partner how to make bread last weekend. Now I'm going to enjoy it with some soup. It's too cold out and I need all the hot liquids.
