Health care basics: people
wish to be free from diseases that are preventable; want ongoing scientific progress for conditions that are not; and want access to care even if they happen to be poor, sick, disabled, or aged. We can argue about the how, but the tenets themselves are not negotiable.

Going to try to be "severed" on social media, with a few exceptions:

-LinkedIn for my work risk-based contracts, ACOs, and MA
-Bluesky for work on health equity (esp disablity!) imp sci (esp cardiac rehabilitation!), and "fun"

Yes, my eyes flutter as I enter #severance mode on bluesky. Jealous?
