Born in Harlem, NYC. Dad’s enslaved Bissa great-grandfathers of present-day Burkina Faso were freed formally by Florida in 1868. My mother’s enslaved Fulani/Yoruba great-grandmothers of present-day Nigeria, weren’t freed formally by Mississippi until 2013.

Been a fan since 1977. “Acolyte” has majors who resemble “Earthlings,” instead of just 1930s Europe. Its story is more interesting than the predictable “Kenobi!” It would’ve been great to see what happens to the twins, since they appeared to have “changed” places. Hope Qimir stays “fine,” OMG!

I’m in a very Star Wars mood after finishing the Jedi games, so I’m rewatching some of the Disney shows.

Just rewatched The Acolyte so now even more disappointed it’s not getting a second season. Honestly think it’s one of the better Star Wars shows. Other than Andor it’s probably my favourite.

You’re right, because “someone” must to show strength!
This moment is a test. Donald Trump wants us to blink first and hand him over power.

We have too much to save to give in. Protecting the American people is too important a task for us to give up before anything even starts.

Argentina’s dictator got another 20 billion, as well. American farmers be damned, I guess!
African American Diaspora shouldn’t have to pay for genetic testing, because America deliberately stripped us of every aspect of our backgrounds. The government at least owes us that reparation! Our identity was obligated for America’s capital gain! I’m writing my U.S. government representatives!

… of Congress.
I told a friend in 2015, “Just remember that Adolf Hitler was elected. She didn’t think “We the people …” could be lied to by the same candidate that said President Barrack Obama wasn’t born in the United States. That puts him in the category of someone who’d lie with impunity.

It's so ridiculous that MAGAs believe the GOP line that "Democrats want to give free healthcare to immigrants."

My dudes immigrants aren't getting free healthcare in the United States. American citizens aren't even getting free healthcare. You know who is?

The people lying to you about immigrants.

These are scary times, and it’s okay to feel afraid. The challenge is learning how to respond instead of retreating. This piece offers insight into managing that fear and transforming it into courage, understanding, and tangible steps forward.

The right and the left both use fear to drive politics, but the difference in how is striking

It was fun seeing bribe for hire Pam Bondi get annihilated in her bullshit perjury-filled Senate hearing today, but I would’ve much preferred seeing her sent to prison for fraud, corruption and bribery.
