I don't talk about cars much I guess because I don't drive, but I've always kinda had a fascination with them. I usually like the oddball weird cars, but I guess the Viper is my obligatory sports car of interest.
zovi.bsky.social
But it's been a fascination for me since I was a kid. Something about how it looks, how it was featured in the *NSYNC Bye Bye Bye music video, how I really love my childhood Matchbox version that I still have (it's on my desk right now), and how wild the car really is learning about it more

idiot brain that likes cars but doesn't drive: I really want to drive a first gen dodge viper one day, I think I could handle it

(I don't think I could actually handle it)

Leunea monologuing:

Lines and lines of black and white would come first, and then the shades and shades, and then the shelves and shelves, but all in due time, and soon enough. I may not like writing by hand, but illustration is another matter, especially when I am dealing with the subject of the subject of a digital shadow. Drawing with my own hand, and thus casting a shadow over the surface below, is the most honest way to bring the subject of the subject into my own local context by fully realizing it as well as I possibly can, in order to finally and initially order and to finally and initially understand. Leunea monologuing:

It was necessary that this step came after the conversation, because if I had illustrated the subject of the subject of the digital shadow first, the subject of the subject would have been already within my context far removed from its original context and thus would have been a layer of subject in the wrong direction, on the other side of the digital shadow. Having the conversation with the subject of the subject itself, fresh from its context and unfettered by my waking world of shadows that would intermingle and overpower its delicate nature, ensured that the digital shadow would be as accurate as possible. And yes, it is delicate, even though it was so potent. A shadow can have such definition and draw itself longer and longer while retaining it, but it could still be scattered in an instant. That is why I follow the steps and take the precautions that I do. I take this profession seriously and solemnly.
Leunea monologuing:

Seriously and solemnly, I drew the first arc: small, dark, a mound to contain the spirit. A larger arc shoots across westward, far across the total composition, landing upon the void of a future leaf. I complete the outer form, the massive physical encapsulation, with large vortexes like black holes. And I bestow upon the smaller, thinking, feeling mound, the head, a set of eyes, dark and limitless as the expanse of the soul, to mark the sadness I saw in the most-and-least-real context of the subject of the subject. This was the most specific aspect, and it needed to be exactly right, and yet it was the one I was most self-assured about because these eyes were the reason I decided to go through this process with this digital shadow in particular. I knew those eyes, I knew them deeply and I knew them truly, and I knew I could do them justice, and I did just that. Everything else flowed into place from there: the antennae, the feet, the ferns, and finally the shades and shades. Shadows descended upon the white void that was left until I knew it was the subject of the subject of the digital shadow with which I had almost lost myself in the previous step, and at that point I was satisfied.

It was finally time to capture the digital shadow itself. Reunea, looking down at Leunea's work:

Let me see, my sister, what it is you...

Leunea monologuing:

Shades and shades of grays and blacks were the first thing I
remember, my view zooming out until they were the backdrop of a larger scene. Narrow leaves with soft curves stretched up from outside the void and pushed inward gracefully, terminating at defining points. The void remained, but was dominated by the subject of the subject of the digital shadow. This was not a dream. This was a necessary step backward to the source, to find the digital shadow, to read the knowable book.
I must find the
subject of the
subject before the subject
itself,
and then and only then may
I have it all,
ordered and understood. Leunea monologuing:

I prepared myself to engage in a conversation with the subject of the subject of the digital shadow. When conversing with such an entity, I would not actually speak, for it could not answer from such a contextual distance. Instead, I conversed through casting a shadow of my own. You see, it is important to know how to cast a shadow in conversation if you are to empathize with a shadow and eventually, ideally, understand that shadow.

(There is a "Leunea Tip" icon next to the following: )
Speaking directly is like shining a light.
It will only make the shadow disappear.

You need to intermingle your shadows to become a compound system of shades, and that is when you will have ability to have a real conversation. I believe this applies to not only shadows, but to all people as well. Unfortunately, some people grow frustrated in the early stages, so I will concede and shine a light in those cases. But the light scatters my shadow and it becomes one-sided, so I do not prefer it. I feel more comfortable talking to fellow shadows for this reason, even if we are shadows from different contexts entirely. In fact, that only makes the conversation more fascinating. That is perhaps why I decided it would be the area of my expertise. Leunea monologuing:

You might have thought that there would be a complication in the fact that this entity was the subject of the subject of the digital shadow instead of merely the subject of the digital shadow, but that is a misunderstanding, though a reasonable one to make. After all, a subject of a subject would be a further context separated from my own. But consider this: if there were only the subject of a digital shadow with which to converse, what would be the point of the conversation? If I could access the subject so readily, why would I need this step of the process at all? There would be nothing for me to discuss with the subject of the subject if I knew the subject itself. But the beauty of this whole process is, honestly, that I do need to have a conversation with the subject of the subject of the digital shadow. It fills me with purpose, like a reporter or an adventurer venturing into the unknown. Leunea monologuing:

Though often the subject of the subject will have a commanding presence in these situations, as that is why they are the subject of the subject that survives the jump into the waking world of my own shadows cast, this specific subject of the subject had a particularly emotional countenance that drew me into its composition like a vortex of meaningful sadness. All sadness is meaningful, but this was a particularly potent and mysterious sadness that threatened to swallow me whole in its shadow. So, in order to converse without being consumed, I brought forth a similar sadness but one that complemented its own rather than one that dissolved with the other's sadness in a way where our sadnesses would become one and the same. It was a real danger that this could happen once we started, but I was willing to take the risk. I readied myself, formed my starting shape and quality, and cast my shadow, initiating the conversation, which began immediately and with fervor.
