One of the biggest assumptions I've seen with digital ID is that TEEs can't be compromised to the point of leaking sensitive credentials. Which feels like a naive approach and I don't see any back up plans if that happens.

I know this is small peanuts but I have to complain about this again. The way that DoorDash makes it hard to tip NYC delivery drivers is so disgusting to me. I wrote this last year and sort of forgot about it — until tonight, when I ran into the same issue.
