American presidents always side with Israel regardless of what they do because of their Judeo-christian roots... any good christian child was raised believing Israels/Jews are God's chosen people & believe God will act against any country that sides against Israel.

Hmm, this reminds me of another Republican presidential candidate... smacks of Ronald Reagan pressuring Iran to NOT release American hostages so Jimmy Carter would look bad. APparently its a Republican tradition to allow others to suffer so you can have good press.

Hats off to MIT for rejecting the authoritarian demands of the Trump admin. Hopefully the other U's will follow their lead. Large universities have been stockpiling endowments to astronomical amounts for years- they can use them to maintain their scientific-based inquiry for truth & equality.

I find it interesting that with most crimes, if there is more than one person involved, the conspiracy falls apart because the more people who know, less likely a secret is kept. But 274 agents were involved in Jan 6, & none of them have spoken up?? Unlikely.

I am surprised that Trump doesn't understand 'optics' better. Even if he were to single-handedly ean the war in Ukraine and Gaza, that is offset by images of ICE tackling grandmas to the ground and deporting crying children. You can't be a beacon of peace & do that.
