I don’t know how people can say Home Alone could happen at any other time of the year. Christmas is entwined throughout the entire movie. Everything is about family. The bandits target their predominately Christian neighborhood because everyone’s out of town for Christmas.

That time of the cycle where I’m more sad than usual has lined up perfectly with both Chanukah and Christmas to intensify my feelings of being alone to a horrible degree so that’s nice. Nothing like being completely forgotten.

All the cookies I made were devoured at the party but I had enough leftover for one last batch. Also the white chocolate macadamia ones turned out to be the crowd favorite surprisingly.

If your recipe starts off by chopping multiple ingredients, it’s not a “lazy day” recipe and I will die on this hill. Also it won’t take just 10 minutes or whatever nonsense number food influencers come up with.
