I'm a couple chapters into Charon Docks at Daylight and it's such a different writing style from the last thing I read, it took me time to adjust, but it's fun so far. It's available for free if you Google it.

For anyone oblivious, I am very obviously pro-Palestine, and firmly believe it will one day be free from its occupation.
There was some question last night on stream about if the book I'm reading with a fantasy version of a Jewish main character was pro-Israel or not, and I want to say more eloquently here that being Jewish doesn't automatically mean it's pro-Israel propaganda.

Called an Urgent Care to ask if they'd look at a dog bite. They said sure, just walk in. I go in and the gal at the desk acted like I was stupid for thinking they did that.
I had to call an ER in the boonies to find a place with less than a 4 hour wait.
To say I'm annoyed is putting it lightly. 🥲

Bolter was attacked by a stray at the dog park yesterday (some dude just abandoned his aggressive dog.) The emergency vet said everything was superficial, but he's got like 6 wounds.
She showed me how to clean them, and gave him pain meds.

Every gash seems superficial, so they're giving him pain meds and antibiotics, and they showed me how to keep the wounds clean.
